Volunteer LPO&Education: Collaborations with education The Education working group is looking for reinforcement! *Why collaborate with Education?* Education offers LPO very interesting opportunities to develop knowledge about subjects that can help chronic pain patients. Education also offers LPO options to develop subprojects, themes or practical components within Pijnstad at low costs. Projects that would otherwise require more or a lot of time & resources. Conversely, LPO offers education and students the opportunity to apply theory in practice... and to learn from it. LPO has therefore set up various collaborations with parties in education and has the ambition to expand this. *This is what you will do:* - You will become involved in existing collaborations between LPO and education partners and will be (jointly) responsible for the implementation and management of such a collaboration. - You will work together with the other three members of the working group. - From the Partnerships Working Group, you will also look for schools and education programs that would like to commit themselves to the LPO in a sustainable manner. You will therefore help build LPO's network of teachers and students from MBO/HBO/Scientific education. - Through this network, you see opportunities to set up projects with individual students or groups of students for the benefit of people with chronic pain and the LPO/Pijnstad. - You periodically conduct (progress) interviews with teachers and students and are responsible for the associated guidance and administration. *Who are you?* - You would like to commit yourself to people with chronic pain and their loved ones. - It can be useful if you already have experience in working with (higher educated) students and teachers. This means, among other things: conducting exploratory interviews, giving introductions, setting up and developing collaboration, monitoring progress, giving interim feedback and conducting short evaluations. - You enjoy building a network and making the deployment of both individual students and student groups at the LPO a success. - You have knowledge of working with Office 365, (Word, Outlook, Excel) and you are familiar with communication via Microsoft Teams. - You have your own laptop. *Where and when* - Nice from your own place, we only work online and have regular contact with each other via Microsoft Teams. - A time investment of at least approximately 4 hours per week. - Apart from the few hours of online presence for periodic consultation, you divide your own time. *The bonus* - It gives you positive energy to be able to help build something that makes a real difference in the lives of people with chronic pain. - We offer you the opportunity to develop yourself even further, in line with your needs and the objectives of the National Pain Organization.
